As part of ONN's ongoing focus on evaluation in the nonprofit sector, we recently conducted our first ever State of Evaluation Survey in partnership with Imagine Canada, Ontario Trillium Foundation and Ignite. The survey provides the first broadly based quantitative measures of what Ontario nonprofits are doing to measure and evaluate their work; how they are using results; financial, informational and human resources they are drawing on; relations between funders and fundees; and barriers and enablers to evaluation, among other topics. Join us for the initial release of survey results, followed by a discussion of their broader implications and potential for nonprofits, funders and our stakeholders.
